As the saying goes in Las Vegas, you can find any type of food that is in existence in Sin City. The same goes for Japanese restaurants in Las Vegas. Most people that visit Vegas tend to either eat at restaurants along the strip or downtown, so this list of some of the best Japanese restaurants in Las Vegas offers some of the best food in the state.

Ah Sin - Paris Las Vegas - 3655 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 - 702-946-7000

This restaurant offers great views of the fountains at Bellagio. It also offers seating under the tent, which is also an air-conditioned. Though this restaurant does serve Japanese food, it serves more of an Asian fusion menu, and that you can find many Asian style dishes. Look at spending between $30 and $45 per person for meal here. Restaurant hours are from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are suggested

Benihana - Las Vegas Hilton - 3000 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 - 702-732-5334

Benihana is one of the original restaurants in which the cooks prepare meals on the grill in front of the guests. This is a great spot to take the entire family for the entertainment value as well as the food. Average prices for meals are about $35 per person. The restaurant hours are 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sunday through Saturday. Reservations are highly suggested.

Hyakumi - Caesar's Palace - 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 - 702-731-7110

Keep in mind that this restaurant is pricey, but for the most part a good place to grab some Japanese food. The location of the restaurant is a bit strange and not the easiest to find. However, the food makes up for it. They offer both sushi and teppanyaki dining. The average price for meal is about $50. The hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Saturday.

Japonais - Mirage Hotel - 3400 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 - 702-792-7800

The staff at this restaurant more than compensates for the price that you will pay for the meal. This restaurant offers something called a taste tour. Guests are asked about their likes and dislikes and the approximate price they would like to pay. From this, the server then brings out the appropriate dishes. Look for each person to stand on the average $60 and up, without drinks. However, make sure and tried one of their signature drinks. Hours of operation are Sunday through Wednesday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Shintaro - Bellagio Hotel - 3600 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 - 702-693-8255

This restaurant boasts great atmosphere, wonderful service, and the teppanyaki cooks are marvelous. Again, most places within the Bellagio are pricey. However, this place is worth every cent. A teppanyaki meal with lobster and prawns runs approximately $80. However, with this meal you get a Japanese salad, miso soup, fried rice and vegetables with your entrée, and dessert. Be sure to order a bottle of sake from their list of over 50 different versions. Hours of operation are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Saturday. Plan to make reservations as far in advance as possible.

Okada - Wynn Las Vegas - 3131 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 - 702-248-3463

This establishment offers several different options from sushi to robatayaki to teppanyaki. They have it all. The views of the lagoon area are spectacular. A great starter is the red miso bouillabaisse. Average meal will cost about $75. Hours operation are Sunday through Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday through Saturday 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Reservations are suggested.

Shibuya - MGM Grand Hotel - 3799 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 - 702-891-1111

For starters, this restaurant has one of the largest selections of sake than I have ever seen. Though this restaurant sells sushi, they also sell a variety of cooked items such as the braised short ribs with seared foie gras, and the scallop teppanyaki. The average meal runs approximately $75. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday through Saturday, 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Reservations are highly suggested.

Mizuno's - Tropicana Resort - 3801 Las Vegas, Blvd., South, Las Vegas, NV 89109

This place shows a sure sign that the food is good. Walk into the doors and you will find the patrons are predominantly Asian. This is a good sign! There is a large variety of foods to eat from this place. The Samurai dinners are from $17 - $27, and the Shogun combination dinners are from $29 - $48. Hours of operation are from 5 p.m. to 10:45 p.m., Sunday through Saturday. Reservations are suggested.

Though many of these restaurants offer both sushi and teppanyaki fare, you are sure to find an entrée that suits your tastes and wallet, even along the Las Vegas Strip's famous hotels.

Travelers to Las Vegas are forwarding their luggage to their casino from home more and more every year. Instead of worrying about carrying their luggage with them to the airport, they have it sent through UPS, Fed-Ex or the USPS. There are some aspects that you will need to mind about forwarding your luggage to a Las Vegas hotel. As a regular traveler to Sin City, there are many inside tips that I enjoy sharing with others.

First off, contact your Las Vegas hotel to make sure that they accept forwarded luggage. There are still some of the smaller Las Vegas hotels that do not. If your Las Vegas hotel does accept forwarded luggage, make sure that you find out any rules that they might have for delivery. You might be required to deliver within 24 of your arrival. Others only accept forwarded luggage from certain carriers.

If you have a history with a particular hotel (such as a player's club card with a lot of points on it), you might be able to get the Las Vegas hotel to reimburse you for your luggage forwarding expenses. While this is rare, I have had it happen to me on a few occasions. All I had to do was present my copy of the statement to the front desk, and the expense was taken off of my hotel bill.

Finally, keep in mind that if you are traveling by plane in the United States, there are many security flags that will pop up if you are heading somewhere for a few days and you do not have any luggage. With airline security getting tighter all of the time, keeping flags off of your file is best. If you are going to forward your luggage to a Las Vegas hotel, make sure that you at least take a carry-on with you to the airport.

Keep these tips in mind if you are planning on forwarding your luggage to a Las Vegas hotel. All of them will save you from potential issues. There is nothing that I hate more when I am on vacation than having my trip start off on a bad foot.

If you have been to Las Vegas lately you may have noticed that finding a Bed & Breakfast is almost impossible. If you wish to stay anywhere near the Strip or within Clark County City Limits you need to be aware of a fairly newly passed City Ordinance.
No short term accommodations (aka Bed and Breakfasts) are any longer legal in Las Vegas within the 8000 Square Miles of Clark County. This zoning ordinance was created essentially to safeguard the Gaming Industry and constrains Las Vegas visitors to stay at a Casino/Hotel. However, there are no Laws as of yet against Friends staying with “Friends”. With this side note stated, allow me to introduce you to your new potential “Friends” accommodations. For prices please call the numbers provided since they could not openly list them for above named reasons.

Feather Danse Bed & Breakfast, a classy place with charm and wonderful amenities is located in a pleasant “in Town” Location, close to various Las Vegas Attractions.
Some of their Amenities include a wonderful continental Breakfast, Pool/Spa, Suites and a very friendly staff who wants to make your stay as comfortable as possible. English, Spanish and depending on who is on Staff a few other languages are spoken by the helpful Staff Members.
Making your payments couldn't be made any easier for you either. The good folks at the Feather Danse accept Visa, MC, Cash and Discover Card. In order to make arrangements for a visit you need to join their Network of Friends. I would consider this place easily on top of the list. For further information feel free to contact them at:

The next one up is a bit different. Instead of focusing on the casual Traveler this Bed & Breakfast is targeted towards the business person and convention attendee. Las Vegas is well known for its large variety of constant conventions from the technological to adult industry. Most of these conventions are housed at the Sands Convention Center right off the Strip, which makes the Bed & Office the perfect choice.

The Bed & Office is located only a 5-7 minute drive time via Dessert Inn from the Convention Center. I have been told that you can easily rent a Car for around $20.00 a day if you flew in and save the now ever increasing cab cost. Parking is free on their grounds as well. This business styled Bed & Breakfast is geared towards luxury and affordability with the busy executive in mind. Their spacious living & dining room areas are perfect for entertaining, relaxed meetings or just to kick back for a few moments of relaxation. Each Room is equipped with free wi-fi computer access another definite perk for the business minded traveler. A fully equipped kitchen makes those feelings of “home” fully rounded. A nice complete and generous continental breakfast is included. For those of you who just can't stand to leave your pet at home, this place is ideal. The Bed & Office is very pet friendly.

For more information make sure to give them a call or send them a quick email. Hours by appointment only, sorry no drop-ins.

For our next choice we have to step a little way outside of Las Vegas and go to near by historical Boulder City. This Bed and Breakfast is billed by the City of Boulder as a romantic get-a-way spot and I would have to agree. If you are looking at being near the hustle of Las Vegas, but would like to spend your more cozy moments in a relaxed atmosphere I urge you to take a look at the Boulder City Bed & Breakfast.

Milo's Inn at Boulder is billed accurately as a Bed and Breakfast and has none of the Clark County counterparts “hidden” issues. If you enjoy small town charm and a very neighborly class of people you need to give this lovely place a try. This in is not one of the biggest and is set as four Tuscan Styled Rooms, but it is in turn comfortable, classy and romantic. This Bed & Breakfast offers overstuffed Pillows, oversized Queen Beds, Fire place, double whirlpool, wine cabinet for two and more. This is hands down the choice for love birds who don't mind spending a little time in travel and money.

3 Different Package Deals are available as well. Don't forget to take a look at Milo's Wine Cellar for those of you who enjoy a fine Wine and with many different Beers there is a brew for anyone. Fine Dining is available as well and if you get the taste of Las Vegas Nightlife it is only 25 Miles away from the Strip.

Take advantage of the Spa & Wellness Center as well and treat your-self to a Spa Treatment starting at $75.00 an hour.

The Rates are either $169.00 or $199.00 a night depending on which one of the 4 Guestrooms you chose to stay in.

Let's go back to Las Vegas and insert a French Flair to the Bed & Breakfast hunt.

Michele's French Country Cottage is another of those who sadly have to stay a bit obscure. However her love for the French Cuisine and making her Guests comfortable is more then well known to those who have had the chance to stay with her. Fairly central (only 5 Miles from both the Strip and the Airport), she is a hidden jewel that makes staying at the Country Cottage very enjoyable.

Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are honored as payment options. For reservations and further detailed information please contact:

Looking for a cooler location during the hot summer month in Las Vegas? Then I suggest you head for Mount Charleston where the temperatures are usually cooler. The View and hiking Trails are more then note worthy and that brings me to our last but by no means last choice for Bed & Breakfast in and around Las Vegas.

Almost Heaven is the Bed & Breakfast at Mt. Charleston. Nestled in the Mountains over Las Vegas this is the choice for the adventure seekers who just want to get away from the busy Las Vegas Strip. However, this location is not cheap by any means, starting at $199.00 per night it can range up to $499.00 a night. This makes Almost Heaven the choice of those who don't mind to pay high prices for scenery, relaxation and location.

Almost Heaven is located near Lee Canyon Ski Resort, Mt. Charleston Golf Resort and still fairly close to the Las Vegas Strip. Hiking Trails, Bike Trails, Parks, Antique Malls, Concert and clubs… this location keeps you just far enough to not have to hear it, but close enough to enjoy it! A bit of everything for just about everyone.

Don't forget the more risqué sport of mountain climbing as well as the genteel horseback riding is available as well.

Amenities: Television in room, Fireplace in room, Piano, Antiques, Down comforters, Whirlpool/spa in-room, Canopy beds, Sitting room/library, Room service, Full breakfast, Patio, Balcony, Room with scenic view, Private porch, No smoking, Designated smoking, Meeting rooms/facilities, Suites available, Hot tub/Jacuzzi, In-room or on-deck coffee/tea service, Evening dessert/cordials/hors d'oeuvres and Discounts/specials available (copied from their Website)

Payments accepted are MasterCard, Discover as well as American Express and according to their Website there is a 10% Discount if you reserve a room online. So don't miss out on that.

There are a lot of people that want to have the experience of an adventure in Las Vegas. Here we will look at things that they need to remember when setting off on this adventure.

1. Staying polite to those that are waiting on you is very important. Remember that they are just like you and have feelings as well that can be hurt. They are just doing the job that they were hired for and are not out to get you personally.

2. Have fun, but stay sensible. This means that dancing on tables or chairs is not the way to use your common sense. It may be fun in the beginning but you will eventually be stopped. The bouncers will and security are always on the look out for people that behave out of line in this type of way and will make sure that your visit to the club is a short one.

3. Tipping is a must at clubs in Las Vegas. People that work in them do not make the best money, and are very dependent on the tips that they receive from patrons. If tipping is not something that you intend to do then you better be prepared to have less then fair service from the staff of the club. The difference between good service and bad service can be seen by the tipping that people do. With this said, make sure that the tipping that you do is not an insult to the person waiting on you or providing you with assistance.

4. Be careful when walking the streets in Las Vegas. Use the crosswalks that are designed to help you cross intersections safely. Many people have been injured and killed because they thought they could save time by not using them. Las Vegas police will not hesitate to issue tickets to people that jaywalk in this city.

5. Don't be the type to hit on every woman in a short skirt. By this I mean that the cocktail waitresses that wear the cute little outfits and are somewhat flirty are doing the job they are paid for, they are not looking for dates. Men that try to pick these women up usually end up being the talk of the waitresses in the club, and can also be the reason for being escorted out of the establishment if you become out of line with them.

6. Women need to dress with a little bit of discretion in Las Vegas. Remember that you can dress sexily and be covered. There is no need to find the shortest, tightest dress that is around to be beautiful. Dressing like this will not only make you look like a streetwalker but will also reflect your insecurity to others. Most women that do this tend to drink more than they should in order to hide their insecurity. Remember attractive can be attained through clothing that fits well and leaves something to the imagination.

7. On a final note, remember not to act like a jerk. You are just another guest in the club, nothing more than that. You are not a celebrity that deserves anything special and need to remember this at all times in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas is known for its gambling. It's what makes the city tick. But, there's more to this area than meets the eye. You just have to be courageous enough to leave the strip and check out other places. This article will explore the best tourist attractions, other than gambling, within an hour of Las Vegas.

1. Hoover Dam. Hoover Dam the most popular tourist attractions near Las Vegas that is under an hour in traveling time. Hoover Dam is located 35 miles south of Las Vegas. You can rent a car and drive to the Hoover Dam yourself, by taking Highway 93. Or, you can take a tour from Las Vegas by contacting the Hoover Dam from their website. It costs $11 to be able to see the inner workings of the dam as well as the power generating equipment. A tour of the dam itself costs $30 and must be purchased in person the day you arrive, first come first served. Lake Mead is a result of the Hoover Dam's efforts. You can visit Lake Mead and swim or fish.

The visitor center at Hoover Dam is open from 9 am to 6 pm each day. You need to purchase your tickets by 5:15 pm. The parking garage opens an hour earlier, and costs $7. You can only pay in cash for the parking. The visitor center is only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

2. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. This is a beautiful area where you can see tall red rocks stretching from the earth's surface, gutting towards the sky. There is a spring that has a waterfall during certain seasons that can be reached by a hike to Lost Creek.

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is a popular tourist attraction near Las Vegas, although not everyone knows about it. This is located 20 miles west of Las Vegas. You can drive to it by renting a car or driving your own car from Las Vegas in about a half an hour. It costs $5 for your car to enter and drive the 13 mile loop road. Once inside the area after paying admission, you can hike the trails or climb the boulders and cliffs. The best time to visit is in the early morning because the rocks get very hot once the sun begins to heat them throughout the day.

3. Yucca Mountain Science Center. If you're interested in the government and what it does with nuclear waste, this attraction is for you. The site is run by the US Department oF Energy. Yucaa Mountain is the site of an underground repository for nuclear waste. You will learn why this site was chosen and what it will look like as nuclear waste is deposited here. There is a also a science center that researches the disposal of nuclear waste. There is no charge.

Although this attraction might not seem interesting to everyone, it is eye opening to actually see in person a nuclear waste disposal site. It really makes you think about what the government and humans are doing to the world. The information center is open from Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 4 pm. Yucca Mountain is located about 100 miles northwest of Las Vegas, so it's a little over an hour drive to reach it, but it's a great tourist attraction near Las Vegas.

4. Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix. Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix is open 10 am to 10 pm, staying open an extra hour on Friday and Saturday evenings. The best thing about it is the sloped gran prix race tracks that adults can ride on in gran prix cars! You will also find a roller coaster, go karts, child attractions such as kiddie carts, and an arcade. It costs $6.50 per ticket, or $6 if you purchase five more tickets at once. Each ride costs 1/4 to 1 ticket. You can reach this attraction by taking Interstate 15 North to US 95 North. Then go right on Rainbow Drive to Las Vegas drive. It is only a few minutes from the Las Vegas strip.

5. Gondola Rides at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. Okay, this is part of one of the hotels with gambling inside, but the attraction is very relaxing and worth visiting. You take a ride through the canals, viewing the shops along the Venetian Hotel Casino. It costs $15 per person, or $60 for two with a private gondola. You must make reservations if you want the gondolier to sing during the journey. Hours are 10 am to 11 pm, an hour later on Friday and Saturday nights.

These are five incredible tourist attractions near the Las Vegas strip. Try to check out all of them!

Wells Fargo, fresh off receiving a U.S. Government bailout, is having an employee get-away in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Wells Fargo Vegas vacation is set to begin on Friday, and will take full advantage of the $25 billion bail-out that American tax-payers gave the company recently. Corporate junkets, nights at famous Vegas hotels, and shows on the strip will just be part of the enjoyment that many Wells Fargo employees are set to experience in their 12 night vacation to the desert.

Unfortunately, this is not a joke. After Wells Fargo & Company went to the United States Government with their hands out for tax payer money, they are going to turn around and spend that very same tax payer on frivolities in Las Vegas this month. The fun for the employees will begin at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel for the company's top mortgage officers, and continue through March with a separate conference taking place for the Wells Fargo Insurance Division starting on February 25th. Those Wells Fargo employees will have the opportunity to enjoy the Mandalay Bay Hotel during their stay in Vegas.

It goes without saying that The Wynn and Mandalay Bay are two of the high-end hotels located in Las Vegas, and are not very cheap places to stay. The bills for these hotels are not only going to end up on the backs of the American Tax-Payers, but those who are paying for the mortgages that they have received through Wells Fargo. Those high rates that Wells Fargo has been offering can't be helped when the bottom line has vacations like this planned into the budget. The only real hope for the U.S. tax-payers, is that they don't spend too much money while in Vegas, and end up causing Wells Fargo to come right back for more bailout money.

Melissa Murray, a spokeswoman for Wells Fargo, spoke to the Associated Press, stating that “Recognition events are still part of our culture. It's really important that our team members are still valued and recognized.” While Wells Fargo is still operating on tax payer money, top employees could be enjoying the times of their lives at this retreat. The Associated Press reported that past yearly get-aways like this have involved employees attending Cher concerts, Jay Leno stand-up routines, camel rides, and free helicopter rides. It's probably going to be great news to the American tax-payers that instead of cutting back, Wells Fargo is being frivolous with their money again. Those better be good camel rides.

For almost half a century, the Stardust Casino has been a landmark on the Las Vegas Strip. The aging resort was imploded at 2:30am Tuesday morning to make way for the $4.4 Billion Echelon megaresort to be built by Stardust owners, Boyd Gaming.

Las Vegas is a city that is in a constant state of reinvention. The process of demolishing casinos and replacing them with larger, grander casinos has become second nature to residents of the world's gambling capitol. That process has now been repeated once more, as the famous Stardust Casino was imploded to make room for the new Echelon resort, expected to open in 2010.

Saying goodbye to these casinos is always an emotional event that pulls and tugs those involved in a number of directions. It is certainly sad to see a casino go, which some compare to saying goodbye to an old friend. At the same time you can't help but to be happy about the progress, and even look forward to what wonderful sights and experiences will arise from the rubble.

It is particularly difficult to see a casino as historic as the Stardust disappear from the city's skyline. The casino first opened it's doors to the public on July 2, 1958. For 48 years the casino was an icon on the Las Vegas Strip, which was mostly undeveloped property at the time that the Stardust first opened.

The Stardust Casino has seen it's share of excitement over the years. Not only was it a frequent hang out for Frank Sinatra and the rest of the “Rat Pack”, but was also the basis for the book (and later the DeNiro movie) “Casino”. The casino was also the original host for the Seigfried and Roy show. At that time, the illusionists were part of the showgirl extravaganza, “Lido de Paris”.

In 1991, the duo packed up their tigers and moved to a new location, but the Stardust wasn't ready to throw in the towel. In 2000 Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton, called the casino his home away from home. For five years Wayne packed the casino showroom and sang before a thrilled older crowd that enjoyed the nostalgia of an older, simpler time in the history of Las Vegas. But in 2005 Wayne called it quits, and a year later the Stardust closed it's doors for good and was scheduled for demolition.

Just after midnight, a crowd began to gather under tents near the property, giving the Stardust a last farewell party. At 2:30am, the grandchildren of William Boyd, Boyd Gaming's CEO, pushed the plunger to begin the demolition. After a brief fireworks show, 428 pounds of explosives reduced the casino to a pile of rubble.

In it's prime, the Stardust Casino was considered to be a symbol of style and luxury. At the same time, the casino is credited with being the first mass-market property in Las Vegas, which it accomplished by offering discount hotel rooms and free drinks.

Although it is sad to see an old friend like the Stardust gone forever, many are already looking forward to the future and what the next big resort will offer.

If you’re looking for a cool place to party on a hot desert night, The Whiskey Bar at the Green Valley Ranch is the place to be. The Whiskey recently reopened after a major renovation project and the hotspot is hipper than ever. The Whiskey is often overlooked by Vegas vacationers because of its location off the Strip, but the seven-mile trip east of Las Vegas Blvd. is well worth it for a couple of cocktails at the most innovative nightclub in town. The Whiskey attracts a wide range of guests and offers a variety of options. Those out to dance the night away will be drawn to the dance floor by the thumping beats emanating from a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system. The lounge area offers luxurious couches and pillows, an intimate setting for couples, while the bar area allows for socializing amidst post-modern décor and even a complimentary pool table. By far, The Whiskey’s most enticing feature is a 5,000 square foot outdoor terrace featuring a surreal atmosphere where guests can lounge under the stars on sofas and canopied mattresses and bask in a breathtaking view of the Las Vegas Strip and the surrounding Green Valley Ranch resort. Don’t be fooled by the name – The Whiskey doesn’t appear to offer any greater a selection of its namesake than any other upscale watering hole in town – the bar caters to lovers of all libations. However, I figure if you find yourself at a bar called The Whiskey, you may as well indulge in some. The perfect choice for an evening at The Whiskey? Definitely a Crown & Coke. More sophisticated than the usual bottle of beer, but less uppity than a glass of wine, a Crown & Coke will have you fitting in with Las Vegas’ finest at The Whiskey. The Whiskey is located in Station Casinos’ Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa located in Henderson, NV (www.greenvalleyranchresort.com). The Whiskey is part of the Midnight Oil Company’s family of venues known for their modern, luxurious interiors and provocative atmospheres (www.midnightoilbars.com).

Coming to Las Vegas on vacation is wonderful but finding the right souvenir to bring back to the family is a time consuming tedious job. So why not make it easier and use some of these tips.

Post Cards

You can find post cards in just about every Las Vegas Hotel, souvenir shop, grocery store, 7-11 and any other small shop especially on the Strip or downtown. These post cards are cheap and have many of the highlights of the Las Vegas Strip as well as the Downtown Las Vegas spectacles that most people want to see.

If you can't get to all of the scenic places of Las Vegas to take vacation photos the very next best thing is to find the photo you want already printed on a post card and send back home.

Coin Cups

Most people know what a Las Vegas Casino coin cups is, but if you haven't been here before I'll explain to you what they are. A coin cup is a free plastic cup you will find sitting on top of slot and poker machines so you can easily put the coins you win in them while you are walking to the next poker or slot machine to put more money into. They also make it easy for you to cash out and take your winnings up to the cashier to “cash out” or get paid in paper money.

What a lot of people don't know is how many of the casinos are going to coin less machines and are only accepting the slot tickets you get from the casino. So the coin cups that have the Las Vegas Hotels name or logo printed on them could soon be hard to find which means rare and worth money. Just look at all the people selling older Las Vegas coin cups on eBay.

Free Maps of the Las Vegas Strip

Yes, there are maps of the Las Vegas Strip, Downtown and even the other cities of Nevada. But if you come to Las Vegas unprepared and have to buy a map from a gift shop, gas station or a casino, be prepared to shell out some money for it.

Or you could just go online and print a map for free. Then while you are visiting each of the places on the map you just write down the time and date of each visit. I'm sure your mother would love a map of the Las Vegas Strip where you have hand written where, when, how, what and with whom you were doing next to each place on the map. Mother's are just strange that way.

Free flyers

If you plan on walking the Las Vegas Strip, I highly recommend taking the free flyers that get handed out from time to time from people who are standing on the sidewalk. These flyers are the perfect souvenir for that purvy brother in law or next door neighbor, because most will have half naked women in them trying to get you to call them for a massage. Of course I wouldn't recommend calling the numbers because you never know what else would come with that massage but I'm sure it 's something that might not be cleared up until you had a doctors prescription.

Key Chains

Most Las Vegas gift shops and souvenir shops have logo key chains available for just a couple of dollars. So spending just a few dollars you can get everyone on your souvenir list a keychain with the Las Vegas logo on it. Now who's not going to like that?

Casino Chips

While playing most Las Vegas table games they will give you casino chips to use as money on the table. If you forget to cash them back in for real money you can always give the chips themselves as souvenirs. A lot of people have sold older casino chips on places like eBay to people who collect them.

Free Newspaper flyers from the Newspaper bins

For all those who do not know, there are countless newspaper bins that look like they have free newspapers in them. But if you look closely you will see what they really are. It's a paper filled with half naked women that want and come give you massages, lap dances, erotic dances, or who knows what else. Like I said before I wouldn't call the numbers but you know that saying, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” Unless of course you have to go to the doctor for that prescription, in that case your insurance company will also know what happened in Vegas.

Las Vegas Showgirls Calendar

At most Souvenir and gift shops you will be able to find the Las Vegas showgirls calendar. The Las Vegas showgirls are probably the best known thing about Las Vegas and who wouldn't want them on a calendar? Those hats and feathers are so beautiful you might want to go out and buy yourself a feather boa after seeing them for twelve months on a calendar.

Las Vegas Coupons

There are so many ways to get free coupons for Las Vegas, but one of the best ways and the most widely known coupon books is from the Las Vegas gift shop. When you order the FREE Set of Las Vegas Coupons from them, all you have to pay for is the shipping and handling and you get a lot of free stuff.

Not only do you get the Las Vegas fun book, you also get a free set of playing cards that you can also use as a souvenir. What kid doesn't want their own set of Las Vegas playing cards?

Free shampoo

Anyone staying at a Las Vegas Hotel will undoubtedly find the free mini bottles of shampoo, condition, soaps, tissue and some times toilet paper and hand sanitizer. The maids come into your room to clean everyday and leave another set of each of these things. So all you have to do is make sure you take each set as they are given to you and put them in your suitcase so the maids think you used them and leave you more.

Now get a little pink wicker basket from one of the craft stores for a dollar and fill it with all those tiny bottles of soap, shampoo ect, and give it to any woman or little girl you need to give a souvenir to. Women love those little bottles of shampoo and soap and what little girl do you know that wouldn't love a little pink basket filled with bath stuff?
